A: I started connecting my computer to other networks based on some obscure dialup protocol called UUCP approx. March 1989. At that time, 6 characters were probably the limit for UUCP hostnames.

My first computer able to connect to this network was named after the scientific topic that still is fascinating me: Complexity. If one cuts this word down to six characters, complx is probably the best representation one can find.

Unfortunatly, I did not find time to register the domain when it was still available and therefore had to take a little variant of it, with the "zero" instead of the "oh".

Update 20071025: While the domain itself is nice, it's probably not that easy to spell out on the phone or in print, so I choose to switch to opsec.eu. Update 20131231: The domain complx.org became available 8-)
